Community gives back in a big way—and this year’s Wingapalooza proved it.
Thanks to the generosity of customers across Rapid Robert’s locations, more than $12,000 was raised for the Sertoma Club of Springfield in support of the annual Wingapalooza event. Funds were generated through ticket sales and in-store donations as part of Rapid Robert’s playful and impactful “Cluck for a Buck” campaign, where customers were invited to add a $1 donation at the register.
Proceeds from Wingapalooza directly benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield, helping support vital programs that serve local youth and families throughout the community.
Turning Small Moments Into Big Impact
The “Cluck for a Buck” campaign once again showed how small acts of generosity can quickly add up to something powerful. For a dollar at checkout—or by purchasing a Wingapalooza ticket—customers helped create real opportunities for kids right here in Springfield.
“Our customers show up every time,” the Rapid Robert’s team shared. “It’s always incredible to watch a simple idea grow into real support for organizations doing important work in our community.”
Supporting Local Youth Through Wingapalooza
Wingapalooza, hosted by the Sertoma Club of Springfield, has become a highly anticipated local fundraiser, bringing people together over great food, friendly competition, and a shared purpose. The funds raised go toward programs at the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield that focus on education, leadership, and positive development for young people.
By supporting Sertoma and Wingapalooza, Rapid Robert’s and its customers help ensure these critical programs remain accessible to the families who depend on them.
A Community Effort From Start to Finish
From the in-store donations to community support for the event itself, this year’s fundraiser was truly a group effort. Customers, store teams, event organizers, and local partners all played a role in reaching—and exceeding—the fundraising goal.
Rapid Robert’s remains committed to supporting causes that strengthen the communities it serves and is proud to stand alongside organizations like the Sertoma Club of Springfield and the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield in making a difference.
