Rapid Robert’s is proud to announce that the 2nd Annual Fueling the Future fundraiser was a resounding success, raising $10,698 for the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools. The campaign ran throughout August and concluded with a special event on August 30th, uniting customers, employees, and community partners in support of local students and educators.
The fundraiser, now an annual tradition, is part of Rapid Robert’s ongoing commitment to education and community impact. This year’s total surpassed expectations and will directly fund the Back-to-School Grant Program, which provides critical resources for teachers to create engaging and innovative learning environments across the district.
A Collective Effort
The success of Fueling the Future wouldn’t have been possible without the support of key partners. Ozarks Coca-Cola/Dr Pepper Bottling Company, Hiland Dairy, Conoco, and Phillips 66 all joined forces to boost the campaign’s impact. Each partner contributed through product promotions and sponsorships, ensuring that every purchase in August could make a real difference.
Supporting Innovation in the Classroom
Funds raised through Fueling the Future go directly into the Foundation for Springfield Public Schools’ Back-to-School Grant Program, which helps cover the cost of classroom materials, technology upgrades, and creative curriculum enhancements. Teachers apply for grants to fund everything from STEM kits and art supplies to flexible seating and mental health resources.
And the work doesn’t stop here—there’s still time to donate. A second round of grants will be awarded in the winter, and continued community support will help ensure even more classrooms are equipped for success.
