Spicing Things Up for the Boys & Girls Club

We turned up the heat with our Chili Pepper Contest—raising $4,504 for the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield. Because every kid deserves a safe space to learn, play, and grow.

At Rapid Robert’s, we like our community support like we like our chili—bold, flavorful, and done with heart. This year, we raised $4,504 for the Boys & Girls Club of Springfield by participating in one of the city’s most beloved events: the Sertoma Chili Cook-Off.

Known for its fiery flavors and friendly competition, the cook-off is more than a culinary showdown—it’s a community tradition that brings people together for a good cause. Each dollar raised helps fund programs at the Boys & Girls Club, giving local youth a safe and supportive space to learn, play, and thrive.

With over 30 locations across southwest Missouri, Rapid Robert’s knows the importance of investing in our future—and that starts with our kids. The Boys & Girls Club provides after-school programs, meals, academic support, and mentorship to thousands of children, many of whom face economic or social barriers.

Our Chili Pepper Contest added an extra spark to the event. With employee participation, customer engagement, and a little competitive spirit, we turned heat into help—raising funds and awareness at the same time. Every bowl served and every dollar donated went toward making a real difference.

We’re proud to spice things up for a cause that matters. Because when kids have a safe place to go, supportive adults to guide them, and opportunities to dream big, the entire community wins.
